Financial Aid

As a Wayne State University student, you may qualify for financial aid. You should begin by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which is available online and at all extension sites. This document, when duly completed and submitted, provides the basis for the development of a package of financial aid based on need. More information is available by contacting the financial aid office at the Oakland Center at (248) 553-3848.

If you are admitted into the WayneDirect joint enrollment program, you cannot receive financial aid from both the community college and Wayne State University. Wayne State financial aid staff will work with you to determine which institution should award aid each term.
